I believe, firmly to the depths of my very soul that a person should have the right to fight on whatever side of a conflict they want. If I was an American who wanted to go over to Afghanistan and fight with them against the Yankees I should be able to do that.
The right to choose what I believe to be right or wrong and act on it is, or at least should be, a basic human right regardless of where I may have been born. I am not owned by a country.
To think that a person could be charged with treason is incredible and shocking to me. My heart and my soul is mine, as is my body, and I have the right to stand up for what I believe, not what my government wants me to believe.

Incredible statement you are making. But I do believe you should not live in a country you don’t believe in. You don’t have to fight for anything you are not

I like your blog. Yes we are not owned by our country because we have the freedom to speak. Idea of nation is just an alienation; it works under ideological apparatus.

I agree!! Every person born in a certain country has the right and will have the right to whatever beliefs he or she unto. It is not the government or the people who are in the position to take place in one’s decision. It is with the person, what he thinks may be right or wrong, believes to be true or not to decide and think of a better way of his own.

You are absolutely right but if you cant expect for your enemies to be nice to you. Anyway, fighting sounds like a bit too much for me. I think people need to communicate more, and get to now each others. We fear the things that we don`t know so let`s try to get to know each other. Peace!

Your statement about no country owns a person is very true and I agree. But how can we enjoy the benefits of a country and fight against it? We do have the option to choose where we reside.
