I’ll be the first to tell you that I am a super picky person. I am going to look at everything you say, the way to say it and if I get the tiniest whiff of BS I am going to call you on it. BUT I find it thoroughly amazing that people would be surprised that many New Yorkers didn’t actually see the first plane hit the World Trade Center.
Most of these people, like Jennifer Oberstein here, were just going about their daily lives, why would they be looking towards the twin towers? That is just stupid, and as far as the noise, she is some distance away I think, but a lot of noise going on in NY and you tune a lot of it out when you live there. So this kind of commentating I feel is a little on the dumb side.
Wait, never mind (I am still in the process of writing this as I watch the video) now she says she did look up as she was exiting the subway and saw the explosion but not the plane. That doesn’t detract from my earlier statement though, people do tune things out and most New Yorkers, even visitors to the city do not spend their entire life staring at the towers waiting for something to happen.

It means it was not any plane, which could have caused the damages of world trade center. I think Ms Oberstein could only hear the voice of aftermath damages.

yeah definitely! everyone is so busy in their lives how can they even imagine that any plane can struck into world trade centre?
